Bold Park Community School provides a distinct and refreshing educational choice in Perth.

The School began as a collaborative endeavour between educators and parents, initiated by founding Principal Gillian McAuliffe. Noticing that schooling with a competitive, 'one size fits all' approach to a curriculum, with little relevance or meaning, alienates children, educators and parents came together to re-imagine what a school could be.

To this day, Bold Park continues to challenge the prevailing narrative of 'schooling' by being a place where children develop confidence in their capacity as learners and feel connected to and curious about the world and their place in it.

Our students love being at school and never want to leave.

Principal's Welcome

Every child deserves a school bold enough to reimagine the educational experience. Take a step into Bold Park Community School (BPCS), and you will feel the difference. Small by design, we provide an exceptional, world-class learning experience, offering a real choice of school here in Perth.

BPCS is a progressive, innovative school. Informed by research and best practices, we offer an outstanding educational experience inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach. School is not just a place of learning but a place of belonging. Students understand themselves as learners, take responsibility for environmental stewardship, and develop a sense of civic duty through community and connection.

We have created a PK-12 learning journey that shapes inquisitive, engaged, and creative thinkers. We nurture connections, ignite imaginations through the Arts, and empower students to be active participants in their learning. Together, we learn to be bold, brave, and belong.

When you visit our school, you will observe unique, authentic relationships, evident in our intentional mutual respect between students and staff. Families also enrich our learning community by being actively involved in the life of the school. Through our ‘team-around-the-learner’ we support their learning, growth, wellbeing, and agency development.

Through science, technology, and the arts, we create opportunities and experiences that fuel hope. Project-based learning inspires students to connect understanding and ideas with meaning, learning with and from others, with purpose – preparing them to make a difference in their world.

At our Wembley campus, we have our newly established Early Childhood Centre (pre-kindergarten to kindergarten), flexi-daycare, long-day care, and playgroup. We have our Primary School (pre-primary to Year 6) and our Middle School (Years 7-9), home of our Wild Space and the Wild Café.

Our College Campus at Maylands (Years 10-12) provides exceptional opportunities that include pathways to university, TAFE, or apprenticeship. The opportunities to contribute, to be of service, and be part of Maylands is unique – an opportunity not to be missed.

So, what are you waiting for? Be bold and be part of this incredible journey.

Let us flourish together.
