Super Science Challenge Day (Part 1)

After weeks of preparation by our Super Science Duo (Ursula and Malora) – The Super Science Day Challenge has commenced!

Pre-Release Information Packs were sent to our two Guest School (Moerlina and Chrysalis) to get the mental-cogs turning!

The “resource shop” and “tool sheds” are open for business….

And …. 150 children (Years 3-6) are talking, problem solving and hypothesising through their day! In a discussion I was privileged to overhear today; three boys were in concentrated discussion (over popcorn and recess snacks) about how they would execute their challenge … static electricity, marble composition, weight, mass and super healthy THINKING was in abundance!!!

Our Middle School students and staff (from all three schools) are supporting the learning but letting the children lead their solutions!

We’ll keep you posted on the progress for the day!

Free Gift Science Showbags for all participants and prizes … NOT for “winning” but for being helpful, collaborative and taking risks!
