Strategic Focus – Leading Practices and Philosophy
Posted 06 Dec 2016 in From the Principal
As I mentioned in our previous notices; each week to the end of 2016, I will be introducing each of our four major areas of focus from our 2020 Strategic Plan:
Leading Practices and Philosophy: We are committed to growing the capacity of our Staff and Leadership. To achieve this, we will continue to focus on professional development, staff wellness and teacher excellence. It is our ambition to bring further visibility to our practices, systems, policies and procedures in order to facilitate the training and development of new and existing staff, administration, families, governance (with our Board) and provide opportunities to replicate our philosophy and experience into other potential environments and/or experiences.
It is also a time to seek out opportunities to celebrate and showcase our unique lens on learning! Bold Park Community School will be recognised by educational practitioners and authorised organisations as leaders in both Nature Pedagogy and Project-Based Learning. We will establish and extend strategic partnerships for education, recognition, philanthropy; working together for mutually beneficial outcomes which align with our core philosophy and values.
It is no surprise that this priority is best understood in the context of the other priorities. Their inter-dependence is what will bring our school community the momentum we hope to achieve together: Children at the Centre, Leading Practices and Philosophy, A Flourishing Community and Accelerated Growth and Sustainability.
