Just a little update on what has been happening around the school on the playground renovations trickling through
Primary School Mud Pie Kitchen Redesign
We are loving the new look mudpie kitchen, a hive of activity at lunchtime with ‘cooking’; rock grinding and potions! We have also moved the digging sand to this area and have some new sandpit ‘machinery’ : dump trucks etc on the way.
EC Playground Update
We have completed a full site survey of the EC Playground. Simone Marsh (landscape architect and playground designer) has taken the input from the community and sketched up some draft ideas which she shared with the playground group. Following some further work on these, we will make them available for some more community input.
Around School!
Introduced a variety of soft seating options for our Middle schoolers ‘chillaxing’ at lunchtime including some board and lawn games as well as creative options…
We have done the same in the Primary School: new tables and seating for eating lunch, playing board games and creative options available too…..

We had a donation of logs from Mel’s family (Thank you!) and Leslie has used them to construct a new ‘log tangle’ in the Wildspace for a parkour-esque challenge!
College & Middle School have been working with Isaac from Perth Parkour on harnessing small spaces to get maximum opportunity and currently drawing up design ideas.
