Matthew Lambe

Matt graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Primary Education degree, before working for nine years in respite care for children with special needs, as well as a pastoral role overseeing students from Kindergarten through to Year 7. More recently, Matt has worked with disengaged students in an external secondary school setting. He joins Bold Park in 2018 in the Year 3/4 class but has completed short-term contracts in Middle School (2017) and also worked with our Arts Team as a volunteer (2017).

Matt has a passion for the arts and media and loves the emphasis on creativity and expression that Bold Park fosters.

“Stand aside for a while and leave room for learning, observe carefully what children do, and then, if you have understood well, perhaps teaching will be different from before.

Creativity becomes more visible when adults try to be more attentive to the cognitive processes of children than to the results they achieve in various fields of doing and understanding.”
