Kate Sputore

Kate is an environmental scientist specialising in restoration and conservation of coastal and marine ecosystems. She has worked predominantly in the not-for-profit sector, in roles that require community and stakeholder engagement and regional strategic planning to deliver positive environmental outcomes. She has extensive experience in project management; science communication; environmental education; climate change adaptation; coastal governance and collaborative planning.
She has two children, Alexa and Roscoe, who love their days in the wild spaces and inspiring classrooms of Bold Park, and is enthusiastic about contributing to the Board of this wonderful school.
Kate is passionate about connecting and engaging children with natural environments to foster future generations who are advocates for our biodiversity, our culture and our landscapes.
