Landsdale Farm – An Exciting Opportunity

In mid-2017 (prior to the recent announcement about the withdrawal of funding for Landsdale Farm); we negotiated with our good friends at Landsdale Farm, a unique and exciting initiative for our Middle School and College students for Term 3, 2018. The team have allowed us to book 16 days (2 days per/week) for Middle School and College students to spend a full day p/week each at the farm; culminating in a five day camp at the farm!

We will be engaged in a wide range of activities at the farm and hope to offer support to the amazing Landsdale team in any way possible.

Our secondary teaching staff will all be scheduling their professional development at Landsdale Farm over the coming months in order to maximise the integration of learning across the Year 7-12 program/curriculum!

I am genuinely excited about this opportunity and can’t wait to see the connections, conversations, interactions and pathways that will open as a result of extended time on ground to develop a deeper relationship with a unique outdoor place/space and a richer connection with nature’s treasures.

No doubt the farm’s fight to retain funding for the future will be a powerful provocation for our teenagers too!
