Keeping the Light in OUR Eyes!

eyes3Gill has always affirmed that her heart’s desire is to “keep the light burning in children’s eyes”. I think our parents and educators also experience some of that when they first come to Bold Park Community School. For many, the contrast to their existing experiences in education are glaring! The longer we spend within any environment and the less contact we have with the alternatives; it is easy to forget the elements that we once saw as magically, most valuable!

It is clear to me that the choice to enrol our children at Bold Park Community School needs to be reaffirmed, rekindled and maintained so that the light doesn’t go out in our eyes. I can’t encourage you enough to consider your attendance at the Evening with Alise, Maggie and Stories from Bold Park this coming Wednesday the 5th August. This event is a significant opportunity for you to be informed, inspired and reminded of the powerful choice you have made in Bold Park Community School. I guarantee that the buzz from those attending will have many kicking themselves that they didn’t make the decision to come along. Tickets for the evening are presently 85% sold; but there is still opportunity for a few dozen more people to attend. We are expecting a full house on Wednesday evening at Telethon Speech and Hearing.
