Grad-i-tude Assembly 2017

Congratulations to our Year 6s, who now graduate to Year 7 and Middle School! We heartily acknowledge the leadership contribution they have made in 2017; organising their Rottnest Camp, launching stalls and sales for our “Create and Connect Evening”, the recent Disco and the wonderful way in which they have supported and mentored the younger children within the school. We wish all of our Year 6s a successful transition into Year 7 in 2018.

Next Friday, the Year 12s will join with their parents and Middle School and College friends for their Graduation Dinner, Dance and Awards Night. It is a spectacular evening! As a community, we sincerely congratulate our Year 12 students who have achieved tremendous success, not only in your academic studies, but also in your journey as young adults, the contribution they have made and the relationships they have established.

Congratulations Jack, Elly, Liam, Lily, Zach and Braydon; we also acknowledge and congratulate our Year 12 parents who have given us the great pleasure to learn alongside their children.

Each year at Grad-i-tude we also take the time to say THANK YOU, because there are so many ‘extra-milers’ who enrich the learning for our students and make our school such a great place to belong. We actively engage with our ‘village’ and wider community in order to build a sense of self that includes and attends to the well-being of others. This value captures the spirit that is Bold Park Community School. Servant-hearted students, parents and grandparents, volunteers that give with the best possible outcomes for students in mind and staff that go above and beyond!

Over the next two weeks, we see a large number of school events as we finish our year in the celebration of learning and projects and of course in the finalisation of reports for students and parents. We will be preparing for extensive works on site over the Christmas and New Year period with the construction of our Undercover Area. We also prepare for 2018 with Transition Information Evenings, Orientation Day, Staff Professional Development and our End of Year Christmas Party.

I look forward to seeing you at one of these events!

Kind regards

Paul Whitehead
