Commendations for Literature

Congratulations to Tui (Year 12) who recently received a commendation for her Year 12 Literature Task which centred on composing a short piece in the style of Dickens (Great Expectations), set in our own place/time.

Tui is completing her ATAR via SIDE (School of Isolated and Distance Education) whilst being enrolled as a Bold Park student… she has promised to save us a seat at her first public reading of her first novel.

You can read Tui’s literary story below.

Well done, Tui!

“Stand aside for a while and leave room for learning, observe carefully what children do, and then, if you have understood well, perhaps teaching will be different from before.

Creativity becomes more visible when adults try to be more attentive to the cognitive processes of children than to the results they achieve in various fields of doing and understanding.”
