BPCS Students Feature in Local Art Exhibition

This term our Visual Arts Specialist, Renata Biancardi, has been working with our students, encouraging and supporting them to enter The Town of Cambridge’s annual Local Schools Art Exhibition.

The annual event is an invitation to local schools to submit artwork from their students from Kindergarten to Year 6.

The Town of Cambridge’s exhibition encourages creativity and imagination and provides an opportunity for students to have their art project displayed in an exhibition in a public space.

Artworks were judged by a panel of local artists and art enthusiasts last night at a special exhibition at The Boulevard Centre, Floreat. Prizes were awarded to overall winners of the year groups as well as an Encouragement Award and a High Commendation Award.

Renata said “It was a great and inspiring night at the Town of Cambridge 2018 Local Schools Art Exhibition and Bold Park represented very well winning one of the High Commendation and Encouragement Awards! Big Congratulations to Angus from year 4 and all the other students who had their artworks displayed!”

All artworks will be on display for a public viewing in Floreat Forum Shopping Centre from Friday 14 to Sunday 23 September 2018.
