Annual Report | AGM

The Annual Reports for 2019 were presented at our Annual General Meeting on the 5th August 2020. Our current Chairperson, Emma Majstrovich, presented a report compiled predominantly by our 2019 outgoing Chairperson Delphi McGeough. Emma thanked the Board both outgoing and current members for their commitment and work in achieving all that was during 2019. Some Key highlights mentioned was the renewal of the Principal’s employment contract, changes to the constitution, internal and external reviews of the board, strategic planning framework completed for 2020 – 2023 and much more.

The Principal’s report presented by Paul Whitehead, spoke to the many celebrations we enjoyed on the ground at both Wembley and soon to open Maylands Campus for College students. Our 20th Birthday celebration ‘Reflections’, new partnerships with the United Nations and Perth City Farm, continued work on the Maylands Campus as well as the opening of our Early Childhood Playground featured in Paul’s address.

Sue Wyatt, Business Manager presented the Financial Report for the school, noting that the financial position for the school remains sound and strong. Sue thanked the administration team for their efforts in supporting her in particular noting the efforts of Michelle Colin-Thome (Finance Officer) and Lisa Johnson (Assistant Finance Officer) in doing a lot of the background work in the finance area.

 

At the conclusion of the event, Emma presented staff with a gift basket each of delicious gourmet goodies (pictured above) as a token of thanks from the board and parents for their efforts throughout this year, in particular she mentioned the over and above efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic.
